Introduction of SCS

大连外国语大学汉学院成立于1985年，以来华留学教育、中文一级学科教育为主。是教育部语合中心国际中文教育实践与研究基地和辽宁省来华留学教育示范高校重要的依托部门，是HSK考试和《国际中文教师证书》考试考点。国际学生教育包括长、短期汉语进修、本科学历教育、硕士和博士学历教育。每年招收来自70余个国家的1500余名国际学生。

School of Chinese Studies (SCS), founded in 1985, mainly focuses on studying abroad in China and provides first-level Chinese subject education. SCS is the international Chinese language education practice and research base of Center for Language Education and Cooperation as well as a supportive department to Liaoning provincial model university for international students education. It serves as examination centers for HSK and CTCSOL tests. Every year more than 1,500 international students from more than 70 countries study at SCS for short-term or long-term courses, or for Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctor's degree programs.

【暑假短期班】

Summer Short-term Courses

汉学院暑假期间举办短期汉语研修项目，为海外汉语学习爱好者提供在中国学习汉语、提高汉语水平、体验中国文化的机会。

During the summer vacation, SCS holds short-term Chinese language training programs to provide overseas Chinese learners with opportunities to learn Chinese, improve their Chinese proficiency and experience Chinese culture in China.

开班时间：2024年7月22日～8月16日（4周）。

团队报名（5人以上）可以根据需要安排开班时间。

Duration：

From July 22 to August 16, 2024 (4 weeks).

Team application (with more than 5 members) can be arranged according to the needs of the class time.

班型安排：周一至周五上午为汉语课程。根据学生汉语水平分为入门班、初级班、中级班、高级班等不同层次；人数每班不超过25人，5人以上成班，学院将根据人数为学生调剂班级；人数不足5人的团队如果申请独立成班，按5人标准收费。

Class Arrangement:

Mornings from Monday to Friday are reserved for Chinese language classes. According to the students' Chinese levels, they can be divided into introductory class, elementary class, intermediate class, advanced class, etc. The number of students in each class is between 5 to 25. The school will adjust classes according to the number of students. Groups with less than 5 members will be charged according to the standard of 5 members if they apply for an independent class.

文化体验：周一至周五下午安排免费文化体验课程，包括中国画、书法、剪纸、中国结、武术、太极拳、茶艺欣赏等，学院还将适时组织开展城市观光、博物馆参观、购物体验等丰富多彩的课外语言实践活动。周末安排市内景点游览、周边城市短途旅行等活动，学生可自费自愿参加。

Cultural Experience:

Afternoons from Monday to Friday are reserved for free cultural experience courses, including Chinese painting, calligraphy, paper cutting, Chinese knot, martial arts, Tai chi, tea art appreciation, etc. The school will also organize city sightseeing, museum visits, shopping experience and other colorful extracurricular language practice activities. On weekends, we will arrange visits to scenic spots in the city, short trips to surrounding cities and other activities, which students can voluntarily participate at their own expense.

Application Method and Related Matters

报名条件：学生需热爱中国文化，喜爱学习汉语，身心健康。60岁以上须提供六个月内身体健康检查证明原件。15岁及以下未成年人须监护人陪同。

报名时间：2024年3月1日—2024年6月30日

Application Requirements:

The applicants should be interested in Chinese language and Chinese culture, and be healthy both physically and psychologically.

Applicants aged 60 and above should submit the original proof of physical health examination within six months. Applicants aged 15 and under should be accompanied by an adult guardian.

Application Time:

March 1,2024-June 30, 2024

报名材料及程序：

登录网上报名系统（https://dlufl.17gz.org/），选择“汉语进修生”，进行在线报名；交换生请选择“汉语进修生（校际交流）”进行在线报名，派遣学校通过Email方式提供学生名单以便核实。

报名通过后，持《入学通知书》到本国的中国大使馆办理X2签证入境，到学校报到。

Application Procedure：

Register at SCS online application system (https://dlufl.17gz.org/), choose the ‘Chinese language student’ option and go through the online application procedures. When applying as an exchange student, please choose the ‘Chinese language student (Exchange Student)’ option. A name list of the exchange students shall be provided via Email for verification by the sending institution.

When the application is approved, students should bring the Acceptance Letter to the Chinese Embassy to apply for an X2 visa and arrive at the university on time.

学生宿舍双人间 50元/天/人；六人套间 50元/天/人；单人间 100元/天/人。

※ 设施：独立卫生间/24小时热水淋浴/洗衣房/公共厨房/卫星电视/校园网络（依据不同流量标准，分段计费）。

※ 住宿费用按天计算，入住时一次性付清。

※Equipment: ensuite / 24-hour hot shower / laundry / public kitchen / satellite TV / campus WIFI (charged at different levels according to different mobile traffic standards).

※The accommodation fee is calculated on a daily basis and shall be paid in full upon check-in.

3.保险费：

为学生安全考虑，学生入学后须购买短期人身意外保险，费用为50元/人。

3. Insurance Premium:

For the sake of students' safety, students are required to purchase short-term personal accident insurance after enrollment, the cost is 50 RMB/person.

4.接/送机费：

付费方式：所有费用均以人民币计算，可以在入学报到时以人民币现金支付，也可提前以人民币或美元汇款（仅限学费）。
